Mr Paul Banwell

Paul Banwell is a Plastic & Cosmetic Surgeon based in the South East of England. Paul works in private practice and is also the Lead Plastic Surgeon for the acclaimed Sussex Community Dermatology Service.
Paul has developed an international reputation in the fields of cosmetic surgery, skin health and skin cancer and lectures worldwide on these subjects. He has published extensively including several books, run a research unit and is a Visiting Professor of Plastic Surgery to Harvard Medical School. He has been listed in the Times Magazine as one of the UK’s Top 100 Doctors and his work recognized by Tatler Magazine.
Paul was also the Founder and former Head of The Melanoma and Skin Cancer Unit (MASCU) in East Grinstead, one of the largest skin cancer units in the UK, and as such is an acknowledged expert in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment. He performs mole checks, mole removal, skin cancer removal and reconstruction on a daily basis. Mr. Banwell also has clinical and research interests in the treatment of scars.
Paul is a full member of the British Association of Plastic and Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS). He is also a founder member of the Safer Cosmetic Surgery Group.
In his leisure time, Paul enjoys surfing, skiing and running and is also passionate about collecting modern art.
